Hello! I'm Liz
founder of Hoofs, Paws and Claws
Here is a little bit about me:
I have lived in Newbury for 27 years with my family. We have had many pets over the years and it is hard to imagine life without them!
Our pets have ranged from rodents to horses, snakes to ex-battery hens. We had about six generations of Thailand stick insects which kept us fascinated with their stages of growth. Currently we have a horse, a cat and a guinea pig who has retired from his role as a school therapy pet.
My career background is in education and most recently with SEND. I have always loved animals and sought out their company as a young child before being allowed goldfish and a hamster! One of my earliest memories was inviting Taki, a Labrador who lived next door, to my birthday party!
I truly believe that all pets are part of the family and deserve the best of our attention and care. I am pet first aid trained, fully ensured and hold an enhanced DBS.
Liz is patient, kind and understanding and has always looked after our elderly and very nervous cat really well. We always feel confident leaving Liz in charge. ~ Ruth
Liz takes wonderful care of my 2 dogs and horses when I'm away. She always provides regular updates with photos and videos. She is very reliable and kind and treats the animals as her own. We will always look to use Liz and highly recommend her. ~ Susie
